Certified Sommelier Kristine Miller comes from an impressive background, from her time as a manager and Sommelier at a top Five Diamond, Four Star restaurant in Florida to her experience as a Sommelier at a world renowned Five Diamond, Five Star dining destination in Virginia. It was in Florida that Kristine received her formal wine education and her official Sommelier certification. Kristine also holds a degree in Political Science and Organizational Leadership from Central Washington University.
Kristine is presently pursuing her MBA while working as an educator in hospitality and culinary at FTCC and working as a Hospitality Consultant and Sommelier for the Hilltop House Restaurant. Additionally, she hosts private wine tastings and wine dinners.
Kristine has hand picked all of the wines on the wine list at the Hilltop House with an eye towards unique and interesting wines that work well with our Chef's cuisine. The list represents a worldly and inimitable collection of wine.
While Kristine has spent a good part of her career as a Sommelier in the upper echelon of the dining world she remains friendly, approachable and down to earth about her wine knowledge.
Her goal is to share her passion for wine with others, from those who are just venturing into the wine world to the serious connoisseur and collector. Kristine strives to make wine fun and approachable for everyone.
